DOMAINE DE L’ETOILE

Some 15 minutes from the Anahita resort is Domaine de l’Etoile is set on 6,000 hectares of indigenous forests, pastures, luxuriant valleys and crystalline rivers.

Best described by the enthralled visitors themselves as a “Splendid, wonderful, stunning, enchanting, amazing…” experience, the Domaine de l’Etoile offers a wide selection of activities:

  • Quad biking, horse riding, buggy rides by day and night, hiking, and zip-wire rides
  • Panoramic trails to see the local fauna including java deer, wild boars, monkeys, kestrels, Mauritian cardinals, bats and rare native birds
  • A village for children up to 12 years. This secure place is a thrilling experience offering several activities; aquatic mini jets, inflated games, with programs according to the age of the child

There is also a restaurant on site open for lunch and dinner.

ILE AUX CERFS – ADVENTURE PARK

Developed by ‘Terrocean’ for adventure lovers, the Adventure Park at Ile aux Cerfs offers a wonderful and unique treetop attraction for both adults and children.

  • For children aged from 3 years, 14 different types of activities are available ranging from tree trunk crossing, equilibrium crossing to extreme zip wire…
  • For adults, 38 different activities are proposed which include extreme zip wire, equilibrium crossing, swinging rungs…

VALLEE DE FERNEY

La Vallée de Ferney is one of the very last nature sanctuaries on the island. It provides a safe haven for a great variety of indigenous species, many of which are rare or threatened. La Vallée de Ferney is renowned among eco-tourism sites as a 200 hectare reserve where ambitious projects to restore the flora and fauna of Mauritius are being conducted. Exploring La Vallée de Ferney provides an unforgettable experience observing and understanding the activities associated with the preservation of the biodiversity of Mauritius.

  • Enjoy a full guided tour or a 4×4 excursion of the reserve which will end at the thatched-roof restaurant open for lunch.

GRAND RIVER SOUTH EAST WATERFALLS

Travelling up the Grand River South East mouth, where the river’s current meets the ocean’s tide, guests can see impressive ravines and the spectacular waterfall. The waterfall is one of the east coast’s most popular attractions after Ile aux Cerfs. The Anahita Quayside arranges boat excursions to the waterfall, or guests can ride their bicycles there as the waterfall is not far from the entrance gates of the Resort.
